Storytelling at the intersection of health, ecology, and community.
I share ideas and stories that are honest, useful, and even a little bit beautiful. I love sharing my projects, and introducing you to friends who are trying (quietly or boldly) to do things differently.
I don’t pretend to have all the answers. But I’ve found that stories, especially told plainly and with heart, can move people. Sometimes they even change things.
Ideas shared have legs.
Speaking
I love to talk about how we build health through connection: to ourselves, to each other, and to the natural world.
My talks blend lived experience, science, and story, with a focus on real-life action and grounded hope.
I have been invited to speak on a range of topics including collective wellness, the interconnection between human and environmental health, the nature gap, everyday adventure, and community care.
From large conferences and TEDx stages to university classrooms and local gatherings, I have been stoked to share in a variety of settings. I’ve been a guest lecturer at USC, led wellness workshops in my garden, and served as a commencement speaker at my alma mater, UCLA.
Always with the goal of connecting dots and sparking action - without oversimplifying what’s hard or forgetting what’s possible.
